In the quiet town of Ommen, Netherlands, from October 7 to 18, 2024, a dynamic Erasmus KA2 youth exchange project (2024-1-NL02-KA152-YOU-000217334) titled “Show Off – Dance, Theater, Comedy” came to life! Representing our department were Nađa Pevac (3rd year, Graphic Design – team leader), Andrea Tijanić (2nd year, Brand Design), Magdalena Obradović (3rd year, Image Media), Marija Majkić (3rd year, Image Media), and Jelisaveta Stanković (2nd year, Interior Design).
Students from ten different countries – the Netherlands, Poland, North Macedonia, Romania, Bulgaria, Italy, Greece, Czech Republic, Serbia, and Spain – joined together for a creative adventure! Through an engaging blend of methods and techniques, these young creatives were immersed in:
- Building communication, teamwork, and creativity using expressive arts.
- Mastering problem-solving skills to tackle everyday challenges.
- Boosting confidence by managing activities and crafting clear agreements.
- Exploring fresh, creative solutions for tough situations.
Participants faced a mix of social, economic, and geographical challenges, using their creativity to brainstorm new ways to overcome them. For our students, this kind of hands-on experience was especially useful, shedding light on previously unclear life situations and guiding future steps.
They also expanded their horizons, stepping beyond the familiar to work in a truly international environment, all while connecting with an inspiring network of young people from across the continent. This project wasn’t just a learning experience – it was an unforgettable, vibrant journey of self-discovery and collaboration!
