On May 13, 2026, the Department of Art and Design at the Belgrade Academy of Business and Artistic Applied Studies – BAPUSS hosted a practical workshop within the Erasmus+ project “RECYCLING ART FOR EU WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS” (2024-2-PL01-KA210-ADU-000286394). The workshop was organized during the transnational meeting of project partners in Belgrade and focused on recycling art, sustainability, and the creative use of waste materials.
With the mentorship of Professor Sonja Vlahović, students of graphic and brand design worked together with representatives of partner organizations (Fundacja Anna Tomaszewicz-Dobrska from Poland and AKED Association from Kastamonu, Türkiye), while the guests had the opportunity to gain direct insight into the working methods of our students and their approaches to recycling art, sustainable design, and creative reinterpretation. The guests had the opportunity to learn more about the students’ creative approaches to recycling art and sustainable design.
The workshop connected experiences gained through previous international projects with current student research and project activities, creating a link between international cooperation, practical teaching, and contemporary art and design practices.
The project aims to empower women through the development of creative, digital, and entrepreneurial skills while promoting sustainable development and socially responsible practices. All participants received certificates of participation within the Erasmus+ project.
